Series of photographs
The photo series is an investigation of the connection between architectural spaces, inhabitation and the notion of home.
The series is a self-portrait of a nomadic life, where the concept of home is blurred out between all the rooms, houses, apartments and cities I have lived in. The photos explore not only the spaces I have inhabited, but also which traces of me I transport from one into the next and thereby interpret each room in my own favour.
In this case each image represents a short fragment in the process of a rooms eternal change, while put together they portrays a constant personal transition and adaptation to each place. The fragmentation of each image functions as a perfect allegory for the memories I have of each place: inexact and distorted.
A house is just a container, a place to inhabit; but what makes a home?
