Digital drawing on cartridge paper
An existing stable block, located within a walled garden of a Victorian House is adapted for use as a studio for a painter. The previous flat roof was removed and a new zinc roof with a curved profile was added, sitting on a new concrete band beam.
A large frameless window provides north light to interior.
A study mezzanine is provided sitting over storage units below. A moveable artists desk provides a mobile working area within the the space.
